This is a new Working Group of the Parish Council which aims to meet monthly and to address issues of interest and concern to local residents. Interested members of the public are always very welcome.
Current members of the group are Janice Gardiner (Chair), Cllr Pam Apperley, Cllr Jim Petter, Judy Berry, Ali Moss-Davies, Ishara De Silva, Fran Keogh and Chris Bucknell (Parish Clerk).
Kings Caple Environment Group Terms of Reference 2023
We are particularly interested in knowing what priorities you think we should be focussing on and how we can address issues related to Climate Change and the Environment.

From this the Environment Group is building its list of responsibilities and priorities which include:

Considering environmental issues in the local area

Local Farming and Food

Flooding

Developing new initiatives/projects

Energy and energy efficiency projects
The group is currently focusing efforts on the Climate Emergency and implementing projects and facilities to reduce the community carbon footprint of Kings Caple.
